Check Out These Weekly Events Throughout June in New Orleans!

On any given day of the week, there are tons of fun, interesting things to do in New Orleans. Here is your ultimate guide to the weekly events coming up!

Every Sunday from Noon-6pm you can go check out the Magazine Street Art Market. This market brings the best local artists and craftsmen together for an evening of art and creativity! Here you can purchase hand-crafted art and jewelry from local artisans. On Sundays, you can also enjoy the Swingin’ Jazz Brunch at Maison. This event combines great food and great music to make your Sunday brunch the ultimate experience!

Every Monday, go to Café Negril and check out Noggin. Noggin is a local band that plays variations of Jazz, Rap, Reggae, Funk, and anything else you can think of. Noggin is known to put on a great live show so you will definitely want to catch this on your dreadful Monday afternoons.

The infamous Tuesday market at the Crescent City Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday from 9 am – 1 pm. Make sure you come hungry because, there will be all kinds of delicious baked treats, fresh produce, and locally raised meats. Shopping at the Crescent City Farmers Market is a great way to try and eat healthily and help support the community and local farmers.

On Wednesdays, you don’t want to miss out on the French Market Music & Food Walking Tour. This tour takes you though the French Market District where you can learn all about the development of the Jazz influenced culture in New Orleans and simultaneously, enjoy some delicious food.

The Twilight Garden Concert Series takes place every Thursday night at City Park. This weekly series features some great local musicians. As well as, Wine, beer, mint juleps, and food which are also available for purchase at the event. Make sure you get there early as the park does have a capacity!

Fridays are the perfect day to take the Free Brewery Tour at NOLA Brewing. Sample some great local beers and learn about the brewery and the brewing process. This is a super fun event for beer connoisseurs of all kinds!

Every Saturday at the Hi Ho Lounge you can check out DJ Soul Sister on the turntables and get your groove on. The fun starts at about 11 pm and ends roughly at 3 am. DJ Soul Sister will be spinning many different genres of music for all ages! So, get your dancing shoes ready for the ultimate Saturday evening!
