Get to Know the 2017 Santa Fe Trims

December 3rd, 2019 by

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe seats either six or seven passengers, depending on how you choose to configure it. Louisiana drivers who only need seating for five may want to look at the Santa Fe Sport, which has two rows and its own trim levels. If you want the third row of the Santa Fe, you will have four trims to choose among for this midsize crossover SUV.

2017 Santa Fe SE
The base configuration of the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe is the SE trim. The exterior features automatic headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, roof rack side rails, heated exterior mirrors, a rear spoiler, and rear privacy glass. Inside, you get a 40/20/40 bench seat that splits, folds, and slides for the second row. You also get seating for two in the third row. The driver has 8-way power adjustment and 4-way power lumbar. This trim includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, HD radio, satellite radio, a CD player, six speakers, a 7-inch touchscreen, Hyundai Blue Link, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and Android Auto.

The Santa Fe Limited
Those who want a bit more will appreciate the Santa Fe Limited trim with its built-in turn signals on the exterior mirrors, keyless entry plus ignition, LED taillights, and hands-free power liftgate. The interior also sees multiple updates, including an automatically dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, and bench seats in the second row. You also get more advanced safety, including lane departure warning, blind spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Santa Fe SE Ultimate
If you want seating for seven but a few more features, the SE Ultimate trim builds on the SE. It gives you a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree multiview camera system, 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, and keyless ignition. You also get 6-way power for the front passenger, ventilation and heating in front, heating in the second row and for the steering wheel, and memory for the driver’s seat. This trim also gives you navigation, Infinity surround sound, and an 8-inch touchscreen.

The 2017 Santa Fe Limited Ultimate
The Santa Fe Limited Ultimate combines the features of the Limited trim, including the seating arrangement, with those of the SE Ultimate.

Santa Fe Packages
Those who want more options will appreciate the various packages. A Premium Package on the SE takes many but not all additions from the Ultimate trim, along with an extra USB port, side window sunshades, and LED fog lights. Either Ultimate trim lets you add an Ultimate Tech package with automatic high-beam control, xenon headlights, lane departure warning, an electronic parking brake featuring auto-hold, and adaptive cruise control featuring automatic emergency braking.
